LA police in search of Spider-Man who stole $6K
LOS ANGELES, CA - It looks like Spider-Man does have sticky fingers. Los Angeles police were searching Monday for a man in a Spider-Man costume who authorities say snatched $6,000 from a tour company office on Hollywood Boulevard. (Source: PoliceOne.com)
Florida Deputy Killed in Cruiser Crash Remembered
Relatives and co-workers on Tuesday remembered a Polk County Sheriff's deputy who was killed in an on-duty wreck last week. A funeral was held for Master Deputy Joseph "Shane" Robbins at First Baptist Church, according to The Ledger. Robbins, 40, was killed on April 26 when he lost control of his cruiser before crashing into a large oak tree while driving to the sheriff's Winter Haven operations center to have his cruiser's computer repaired. The new concealment holster offers an internal locking mechanism that is automatically engaged upon holstering your weapon. Deploy your weapon with one fluid motion providing a smooth, natural draw. The K900 is constructed of weatherproof polymer laminate that looks like leather, backed by a precision thermoformed core and synthetic suede lining for added weapon protection. The K900 accommodates belts up to 1-3/4” and has an adjustable cant. Suggested retail price on the K900 is $59.00 and includes both a belt loop and paddle attachment for varied carry option. New Product - SOV Quick Release
The Special Operations Vest (SOV) Quick Release, was designed to provide a single-point, quick ditch capability during boating operations or airborne operations over water. The quick release aspect of this vest allows the user to rapidly escape from the weight of body armor and/or rifle plates with a single pull from a concealed webbing loop releasing a number of different attachment buckles instantaneously. The vest also has the secondary advantage of allowing a first responder or team medic to have quick access to the injury or gunshot wound of a downed officer when seconds count in rendering immediate aid.
The SOV Quick Release is available in both the NIJ 0101.06 Certified or the NIJ 0101.04/.05 Certified armor packages offered by U.S. Armor, including the lightweight and comfortable Enforcer 5000 and Enforcer XLT blends. The outer carrier is made of durable 500 Denier Nylon CORDURA® material and offers the MOLLE webbing attachment system on the front, back and sides of the vest for attaching additional modular holsters, med kits, or ammo pouches.
Other standard features of this vest include:
- Front/back 10" x 12" rifle plate pockets
- Left/right 6" x 6" side plate pockets
- Wrap-around NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection
- Dual M4/AR15 magazine pouches in front cummerbund
- 300 lb. capacity rear drag bar for rescue operations
- Dual side, detachable weapon retention
